The artist’s background in architecture has a direct influence on her work. Bridges, scale models, ruins, constructions and structures are some of the elements of reflection present in Ana Holck’s works. Her constructions are filled with a spatial tension that reflects her constructive-architectural thinking. With backlit photography, scale models or even big installations, Ana fills spaces. She reveals imaginary structures in her tense structures or geometrical lines, therefore promoting the meeting between the public and the backstage of architecture.
